Shake Shack x Loveski Deli - Bay Area Chef Collab with Christopher Kostow

For one day only, we’re partnering with our friends Christopher and Martina Kostow to offer a unique take on our menu influenced by their new concept, Loveski Deli.

About The Kostows

Christopher Kostow, the critically acclaimed chef of The Restaurant at Meadowood in Napa Valley, is the third youngest chef—and youngest American chef—to have received the Michelin three-star accolade. Most recently, Chef Christopher and Martina Kostow have created something a little more casual: Loveski Deli. 

Located in downtown Napa’s Oxbow Public Market and most recently, our new neighbors at Marin Country Mart in Larkspur—Loveski is a “Jew-ish” deli that imbues the traditional elements of delicatessens and appetizing shops with the sensibilities and flavors of California.

The one-day-only menu includes:

  • Smoked Cod Sandwich (tempura-fried smoked cod, American cheese, tartare sauce, Loveski pickles, preserved lemon, lettuce, on a toasted potato bun)

  • Dill Pickle Fries (pickle salt-seasoned crinkle cut fries, fresh dill, side of pickle dipping sauce) 

  • Chocolate Hazelnut Babka Sundae (vanilla frozen custard, chocolate babka, hazelnut fudge sauce, whipped cream, powdered sugar) 

We even partnered with our friends at Jacobsen Salt Co. to create a limited batch of the Dill Pickle finishing salt served on top of our crinkle cut fries, gifted to each guest in attendance.

How We’re Giving Back

Proceeds from each collaboration menu item sold will be donated directly to The Cameron Thompson Legacy Scholarship. An extremely talented and warm young man, Cameron’s unexpected passing in 2019 left a profound impact on his colleagues at The Restaurant at Meadowood, including Chef Christopher and Martina Kostow. Together with Cameron’s mother Tracie and The Culinary Institute of America, the Kostow’s have established this scholarship to help increase access to professional culinary training for aspiring African American chefs.   

Tickets for the Dec. 3 event will be available beginning Nov. 17 and include all three special menu items, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, goodie bags, and access to fun event festivities like live music and special giveaway opportunities.
